Shavory is an independent wet shaving resource dedicated to honest, first-hand product reviews and practical guides. We test every product we recommend, disclose our affiliate relationships, and never publish paid reviews or sponsored content.

Our Mission

We believe every man deserves a great shave. Wet shaving with a safety razor delivers a closer, more comfortable experience than cartridges -- at a fraction of the cost and with less environmental impact. Our goal is to make the switch accessible, honest, and enjoyable.

The wet shaving community -- from r/Wet_Shavers to Badger & Blade -- is one of the most knowledgeable and welcoming groups on the internet. Shavory exists to extend that community to newcomers and provide a trustworthy, up-to-date resource that rivals cannot match.

Our Review Process

We Buy Our Own Products

We purchase every product we review through regular retail channels. No free samples, no PR boxes, no manufacturer relationships that could influence our opinions.

Minimum Testing Period

Each product is tested for at least two weeks of regular use before a review is published. Soaps are tested with multiple brushes and water types. Razors are tested with multiple blade brands.

No Paid Reviews

We do not accept payment for reviews, placement in rankings, or favorable coverage. Our affiliate relationships are disclosed on every page where they appear.

Community Input

We value feedback from the wet shaving community. If our experience differs from the consensus, we say so -- and we explain why.

Regular Updates

Reviews are updated when products change formulation, when new competitors emerge, or when our long-term experience reveals new insights. Date stamps on every review show when it was last updated.
