Legacy Shave razors sit at the entry end of a double edge lineup. The brand sells one razor, the Panther Black Double Edge Safety Razor, listed at $19.95 with five blades in the box, and it takes the same standard DE blades as every razor reviewed on this site.
The catch is availability. The brand’s own store lists the razor as out of stock, and the razor was never the main product. Legacy Shave built its business on the Evolution Brush, a shaving brush that attaches to a can of shaving cream and went in front of the Shark Tank panel in Season 14.
What Legacy Shave Actually Sells
Most of the catalog is the brush. The single Shark Tank brush is $21.95 on legacyshave.com, with two-packs, four-packs and brush-plus-cream bundles filling out the rest of the shop.
The razor is the outlier. It is a black and chrome double edge razor the brand describes as a vintage heavyweight, with no published weight in grams and no published blade gap. The product page gives you a 30 degree angle tip and a box size, and that is the whole spec sheet.

Weight matters more than the marketing suggests. At 68 g the DE89 is on the heavier side of standard, and the Henson AL13 shows the other extreme at 37 g by Henson’s own figure. Without a gram figure for the Panther Black, you cannot place it on that scale before you buy.
Who Should Buy the Legacy Shave Razor
Buy it if you already own the Evolution Brush, want a matching black and chrome razor for under $20, and the store shows it back in stock. As a standard DE razor it will take any blade from a sampler pack, so blade choice is not a lock-in.
